City of Austin invests $24M in local artists, musicians

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The City of Austin announced that it has awarded more than $24 million in funding to local artists, musicians, cultural spaces, and heritage projects.

The city said that it’s “an investment that underscores the City’s commitment to art, culture, and Austin’s legacy of being a birthplace and breeding ground for creativity and inspiration.”
