Pflugerville plans to ease water restrictions by May 1

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — The city of Pflugerville expects to return to normal water usage by the start of May.

In an update on Monday, Pflugerville Mayor Doug Weiss projected that Lake Pflugerville will be back up to an elevation of 633 feet by May 1 at current conservation levels.

The city has been under Stage 3 water restrictions due to five breaks in the raw waterline that fills the lake. Weiss said reaching that target level would allow officials to ease restrictions back to Stage 1…
