Mother speaks out after daughter’s fentanyl death in Williamson County

Anita Anders spoke through tears about losing her 30-year-old daughter to a fentanyl overdose last year in Williamson County.

“Three hundred and seventy-five days ago, I stood over my daughter’s body and promised I would see it through to the end,” she said in a news conference Wednesday at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office about the arrest last week of a the man in connection with Jensen Ander’s death. Jensen Anders died on March 15, 2025, in her boyfriend’s room in the 50 block of County Road 433 in Thrall, according to the affidavit.

Wise is on probation in Travis County after being charged in 2020 with aggravated assault involving serious bodily injury, according to district clerk records. He is being held in the Williamson County Jail on $500,000 bail…
