AUSTIN (KXAN) — A motorcyclist died early Friday morning when their bike went off the road on West Slaughter Lane, according to Austin Police.
APD said it happened just after 3 a.m. in the area of 2600 W. Slaughter Ln., just east of S. First Street.
Crash investigators said they believe the driver, 27-year-old Evan Sedall, veered off the road and no other vehicles were involved.

Westbound lanes of Slaughter Lane, between Brier Ridge and Piping Rock Trail, were closed for a few hours while investigators worked. By 10:15 a.m., all lanes reopened.
