That was the situation this weekend when residents in Austin took to social media to alarm folks about a group of helicopters that seemed to be flying over the city out of nowhere.
Redditor sudomegaman shared an image of the helicopters flying over his home on Sunday, March 29, with the caption “Ton of helicopters flying over North Austin?” Another user, cedivad, followed up with a post of his own, spotting the military vehicles over South Austin and identifying the helicopters as two Apaches and three Chinooks.
