AUSTIN, Texas — A suspect was arrested after nearly a dozen streetlights were vandalized for copper wire in northeast Austin, Austin Energy said.
The incident occurred at the 2300 block of Ridgepoint Drive at 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 12, where a community member spotted the vandalism taking place and called police. Officers arrested Davis Ekakiadis, 56, on site.
