Festival Returns With Major Guitar Icons

Eric Clapton has announced the return of his Crossroads Guitar Festival, marking its first edition since 2023. The 2026 benefit event will take place September 26–27 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Clapton is scheduled to perform on both nights, with each day featuring a different lineup of artists.

The festival will gather many well-known guitar players from rock, blues, and jam music. Confirmed performers include Pete Townshend of The Who, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Buddy Guy, Trey Anastasio of Phish, John Mayer, Marcus King, Jimmie Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr., Taj Mahal, John McLaughlin, Keb’ Mo’, Robert Randolph, Sierra Hull, and Tedeschi Trucks Band. Organizers say audiences can expect collaborative performances bringing several musicians together onstage.

Tickets for the Crossroads Guitar Festival will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 3, at 10 a.m. Central Time. The 2026 gathering marks the seventh Crossroads Guitar Festival and celebrates the 28th anniversary of the Crossroads Centre Antigua rehabilitation facility.
