Cool air on Easter Sunday with a few isolated showers

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Saturday’s rain ended between 8 and 9 p.m. Central Texas had several rain totals exceed an inch. All of the area’s reporting stations did measure rain throughout the day.

Tonight, temperatures cool to the 40s and 50s with mostly cloudy skies. Northeast winds will gust up to 25+ mph at times.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday will be much cooler with high temperatures in the 60s and 70s. Very isolated showers are possible, with some breaking clouds later in the day.

High temperatures will remain cooler through the early half of next week (70s) with more clouds than sun. Our normal high is 78°.

Rain chances are low through mid-week, with increasing confidence for showers and thunderstorms starting Friday into next weekend.
