Central Texas fine goods shop closes for good after 4 years

A weekend of celebration turned into a final farewell for a fine goods shop that has been growing its presence in Central Texas over the last decade. After shuttering its flagship store last fall, another outpost has closed for good as of Easter Sunday.

Dos Olivos Market, the creation of father-daughter duo Rafael and Rebecca Varela, shared in a Facebook post that its Dripping Springs location permanently closed on Sunday, April 5, after four years in the Austin-area city.

“This was not an easy decision,” Dos Olivos writes. “Dripping Springs has been a meaningful part of our journey, and we are incredibly grateful for every guest, team member, and moment that helped shape this location into what it was.”…
