AUSTIN, Texas — One person is dead, and multiple others were injured in a shooting outside an East Austin cocktail bar Friday night, according to the Austin Police Department.
Officers responded around 8:40 p.m. to a disturbance call at the Cabana Club, located at 5012 E. 7th St. Police said an altercation broke out and escalated to gunfire in the back of the bar between a group of people.
Officers arrived within minutes and found an adult man with obvious signs of trauma to his body. Life-saving measures were attempted but were unsuccessful. The man was pronounced dead at 9:02 p.m…
