Proposed improvements to FM 969 aim to address growing traffic concerns in Central Texas

BASTROP COUNTY, Texas — As Central Texas continues to grow, transportation officials are taking a closer look at one increasingly congested roadway: FM 969.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is partnering with the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) to study potential improvements along the corridor, which stretches from State Highway 130 in eastern Travis County to State Highway 21 in Bastrop County.
