AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police have identified the driver who died following a single-vehicle crash in East Austin last month.
According to the Austin Police Department, officers responded around 5:29 a.m. on April 22 to a crash in the 7200 block of East Highway 290 westbound.
Investigators said the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, later identified as 19-year-old Alex Benjamin Cuz Caal, was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. Police said he died days later at the hospital…
