AUSTIN, Texas — A father is sharing his family’s grief after his 2-year-old daughter was killed in a suspected drunk driving crash, and he has a message for the man charged in her death.
Austin Police said the fatal crash happened near the intersection of South Lamar Boulevard and Menchaca Road on Sunday, May 3. The toddler, Abby Sofia Romero Aular, did not survive.
“No one can be prepared to lose a child,” Jesus Romero, her father, said in Spanish. “She gave me so much love in such a short amount of time.”
