BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kids in southwest Bakersfield will soon have a new place to play, with a groundbreaking ceremony set this weekend for Antongiovanni Park.
City leaders say the new park will be one of Bakersfield’s largest. It is being built next to Douglas Miller Elementary School, just off Berkshire Road.
Construction is set to start this summer and finish by spring 2027…
