BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — An 18-year-old man was charged Monday with felony driving under the influence in connection to a motorcycle crash last week that injured him and a passenger hours before their high school graduation.
Michael James Smith III was charged with two counts of felony DUI causing injury, and infractions of operating a motorcycle without a proper license, failure to provide insurance and driving with a measurable blood-alcohol content while under 21.
