BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man convicted of attempted murder and other charges for shooting someone with whom he fought at a family gathering was sentenced Wednesday to 14 years to life in prison, plus four years, according to prosecutors.
Devaun Means, 49, was convicted earlier this year in the April 22, 2025, shooting, which the victim survived.
