BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died after a crash in front of Discovery Church on White Lane back in February as 61-year-old Martin De Santiago of Bakersfield.
The Bakersfield Police Department said on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at around 11:40 a.m., officers were called to the 7000 block of White Lane regarding a crash.
When officers arrived, they found one of the drivers suffering from severe injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. On Wednesday, February 11th, the Kern County Coroner’s Office contacted the Bakersfield Police Department Traffic Division to advise that the driver had died from his injuries…
