BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — As wildfires continue to burn in parts of the West Coast, Kern County firefighters are lending a hand in the fight to extinguish them.
In a news alert on Monday, the Kern County Fire Department said they are now deploying more than 90 personnel to assist with wildfires burning both in Southern California and across the Northwestern part of the country.
The Kern County Fire Department said the deployed personnel are providing “much-needed support in fire-suppression and incident-management roles.”
