New hearing date set in deadly Westside Parkway crash

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A new hearing date of Sept. 18 was scheduled Wednesday in the case of a man accused of driving at high speed when he hit a pedestrian on Westside Parkway and drove home with the upper half of the body in his vehicle.

An update and scheduling of a preliminary hearing may occur on that date.
