BAKERSFEILD, Calif. (KGET) — A Bakersfield elementary school is one two dozen schools nationwide selected for free teachers’ lounge makeover.
Sing Lum Elementary School in southwest Bakersfield has been selected for a lounge renovation including new furniture, decor and supplies.
The makeover will be funded through Walmart and Crayola to help transform the space.

The award will include gift cards from Walmart for $3,000 and $1,000 from Crayola. Walmart is also supplying a $2,500 grant to “further support the school community.”…
