Verdict of ‘Coyote vs. Acme’ is that it’s a winner

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Wile E. Coyote has been on an endless quest of pain and personal destruction since being introduced in the 1949 theatrical short “Fast and Furry-ous.” Despite every single anvil, boulder, rocket skates, quake pill and device he purchased from the Acme Company failing, he never gave up.

The new feature length animated/living action offering “Coyote vs. Acme” finally offers some insight into why Mr. Coyote didn’t just spend all his money on a poultry meal. It also explains why every Acme product blew up in his face – and occasionally blew off his face.

Wile E. Coyote’s latest plan is to hire billboard accident lawyer Kevin Avery (Will Forte) to sue Acme. That means Avery – who has never seen a case he could not settle out of court – would have to face slick corporate counsel Buddy Crane (John Cena)…
