CHP launches statewide Labor Day Holiday Enforcement Period to target impaired driving

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The California Highway Patrol will be conducting a Holiday Enforcement Period for the Labor Day weekend.

The enforcement period will be from Friday, September 4, at 6 p.m. to Monday, September 7, at 11:59 p.m.

According to CHP, during the enforcement period, officers statewide will focus on removing impaired drivers from the road and educating motorists about the dangers of driving under the influence.
