BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly stole gas from a vehicle in a Home Depot parking lot.
At around 10:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, the suspect was captured on video surveillance crawling under the victim’s vehicle and puncturing the gas tank to steal gas, according to police.
The vehicle was parked in the Home Depot parking lot in the 4700 block of Gosford Road.
Investigators described the suspect as a man in his 30s with a slim build. He was wearing a blue baseball hat, white T-shirt, green or gray shorts and blue athletic shoes…
