Preliminary hearing in North Kern State Prison homicide postponed to January

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A hearing to determine whether three men previously convicted of murder will stand trial in the slaying of an inmate at North Kern State Prison has been postponed to next year.

Eric Servin, Jose Gonzalez and Alfred R. Rodriguez are now scheduled for a preliminary hearing Jan. 27, where a judge will decide if there’s enough evidence for the case to proceed. There have been multiple postponements, most recently in August.
