A Bakersfield mother is demanding answers after her 4-year-old autistic and nonverbal son returned from school with bruises, knots and a swollen face during his first week of classes.
Jessica Lewis said her son, Brayden, was injured on Aug. 25 while attending Bill L. Williams Elementary School. She said the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District has not provided an explanation for how the injuries occurred.
