City Council candidate Cassie Bittle amends financial disclosure forms showing Bakersfield businesses: Docs

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – After initially submitting paperwork saying she had no financial conflicts of interest in running for the Bakersfield City Council, local businesswoman Cassie Bittle has quietly resubmitted disclosure forms showing a handful of her financial interests.

Bittle, who co-manages KC Steakhouse in Bakersfield and sits on the city’s planning commission for Ward 3, filed her California Form 700 – or Statement of Economic Interests form – on Aug. 7, 2026, stating she had “no reportable interests.”

But on Sunday, Sept. 6, Bittle filed an amendment of the form to the Fair Political Practices Commission listing five current economic interests in Bakersfield, including investments, “real property” and incomes, loans & business positions.
