BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County coroner’s office has identified the man died in a fiery car crash near a Marriott hotel.
Law enforcement identified the man as 45-year-old Omar Marlyn Archie of West Jordan, Utah.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the 3800 block of Marriott Drive on Sept. 8, around 4:43 a.m.
There, the Bakersfield Police Department found the car that crashed caught fire and Archie, who was operating the vehicle, was determined to be deceased at the scene.
