Nearly two decades after his teenage son was shot and killed, Wesley Davis Jr. is continuing to turn his grief into a call for support, as the community prepares to gather for the 19th annual Walk for Peace in Bakersfield.
The walk honors Wendale Davis, who was killed in 2006, along with other people who have died because of gun violence and other violent crimes. Davis said the annual event is meant to bring families back together and remind them they are not alone.
