BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Fair will open its gates early Thursday, October 1, for Special Friends Day, offering a quieter fair experience for people with special needs and their caregivers.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon. Fairgoers with special needs and their caregivers will receive free admission and parking. No advance registration is required.
