BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Anabell Correa’s trial on two counts of murder in a crash that killed a married couple won’t take place in October as previously scheduled, with a prosecutor suggesting the defense was intentionally delaying the case past the date at which a key witness will be available.
A judge on Tuesday granted a defense motion for a trial challenging a doctor’s findings that Correa is competent. Criminal proceedings remain suspended.
