1 in Bakersfield, 4 in LA County arrested following dismantling of meth lab near Barstow

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Five people — one of them from Bakersfield — were arrested on suspicion of trafficking methamphetamine across Central Valley and Southern California following a multi-agency investigation, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

On Tuesday, KCSO worked with officials with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration – Orange County Office to serve a search warrant in the 19900 block of Yellowstone Road in Hinkley.

Kern County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force personnel also collaborated with the San Bernardino County Fire’s Hazmat unit to dismantle a methamphetamine conversion lab at the home in Hinkley, according to KCSO.

KCSO and KC-HIDTA also served arrest and search warrants at a home in the 600 block of P Street in Bakersfield, officials said…
