Heat returns as Kern County Fair wraps up under early October ridge

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Indian Summer is in the air for the final days of the Kern County Fair and as a strong early October ridge builds in, and stays in, our temperatures will be more August-like again.

A Refried Ridge continues to stay firmly in place across this part of the world and the heat just keeps on sitting here.

Will it be just hot or record-breaking? The record for Sunday is 104, which was reached in 1933.

Have a nice weekend and try to stay cool somehow!…
