BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A 29-year-old driver was booked into the Kern County Jail after Bakersfield police said they fled the scene of a deadly crash involving a pedestrian late Oct. 9.
Bakersfield Police Department officers responded at about 10:18 p.m. on Oct. 9, 2026, to the 900 block of Brundage Lane for a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
