BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County Sheriff deputies are currently investigating a death by gunshot wound in the Wasco area Sunday evening.
On Jan. 28, sheriff deputies at the Wasco substation received reports of a man suffering from gunshot wounds in the area, just before 8 p.m. One man was pronounced dead after live saving measures were performed but ultimately failed.

The sheriff’s office says no other information will be released at this time, but at a later date when further investigation has been completed.
