Forecast: The main frontal zone is pushing east of the advisory area and satellite images show clearing behind it. With this clearly will come building instability, steepening the lapse-rates.

Off and on convective cells containing the risk of thunderstorms will be likely this afternoon and evening. Another batch will also hit San Diego between midnight and sunrise on your Friday.
