BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two men who each pleaded no contest to a felony accessory charge in connection to the shooting death of a Lamont teenager were sentenced Thursday.

Nathan Alberto Lopez and Oscar Moreno Zuniga were sentenced to time served and two years’ probation, according to court records. Zuniga also pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of committing a crime on behalf of a gang.

They had faced charges including attempted murder, records say.

The two were charged along with Alejandro Garcia Felipe in the May shooting of 17-year-old Leonel Gonzalez on Camino La Jolla. Gonzalez was declared dead at the scene.
