Celebrating the month of love and connection, Kern County Animal Services is waiving adoption fees for all its pets throughout February. Adoption fees, to include cost of spay and neuter, up-to-date vaccines, a one-year license and a microchip will be waived through the end of the month at the county shelter, located at 3951 Fruitvale Ave. in Bakersfield.
