BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Wasco man wanted for attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a family member and leaving the scene with her vehicle was arrested Monday in Reedley.
Randy Flores-Lopez, 21, was arrested by Reedley police officers . Lopez was transported back to Kern County and booked into the Lerdo Justice jail on multiple assault and theft charges Monday evening.

The sheriff officers were called to the 400 block of Peppermint Court in Wasco for a report of a stabbing. Deputies said Flores-Lopez, allegedly stabbed a 52-year-old woman multiple times, leaving her with life-threatening wounds. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not specify how Lopez and the victim were related.
Flores-Lopez is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
