More than 1,300 marijuana plants destroyed at Kern grow site

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Authorities seized and destroyed more than 1,300 marijuana plants found at a grow site northwest of Bakersfield, according to a court filing.

A greenhouse structure and camper trailer were found on the site, a vacant lot surrounded by wooden fencing, according to a warrant filed in Superior court. On Friday, a total of 1,335 marijuana plants and 10 pounds of processed marijuana were destroyed, according to the filing.
