BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Need to do some last minute cleaning before your Super Bowl 2024 party? Saturday Bakersfield resident will have the opportunity to drop off their unwanted large items for free.
The city of Bakersfield is set to host its first large item drop-off event of 2024 at the Bakersfield Municipal Airport located at 2000 South Union Ave.

Residents can drop off furniture, mattresses, box springs, electronics and water heaters free of charge at the event.
The event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 10, according to city officials.
