Golden State Avenue back open after sinkhole caused traffic jams

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Golden State Ave. is opened Tuesday morning after a sinkhole snarled traffic late last week.

A two-foot-wide and 8-foot-deep hole was discovered in the middle of the road Wednesday night. Cal Trans was forced to shut down a stretch of Route 204 during last weeks storm.
