As part of the Bakersfield Clean City Initiative, the city’s Solid Waste Division is holding a pop-up trash collection from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Get rid of trash too large for residential trash bins at the Bakersfield Municipal Airport, 2000 S. Union Ave. Be prepared to unload items yourself.
