Authorities in Kern County have arrested an individual on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a stabbing earlier this week. According to a press release by the Sheriff’s Office, authorities responded to a stabbing incident on the 400 block of Peppermint Court in Wasco on the morning of Monday, February 5. The victim, a 52-year-old woman, sustained multiple life-threatening stab wounds and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
