BAKERSFIELD, Calif., Feb. 10 (KNN) — Three people were found trapped and injured inside a vehicle that was involved in a collision with two other vehicles late Friday night.
The Bakersfield Police Department responded to reports of a three-vehicle traffic collision shortly after 11 p.m. in the area of Planz Road in the city of Bakersfield.
When officers arrived on scene, they located three people pinned inside a vehicle with moderate to major injuries, according to initial information at the scene. All three patients were extricated from the wrecked vehicle and transported to a local hospital.
The BPD had the scene of the collision cordoned off and is handling the investigation into the cause of the crash. East and westbound traffic was shut down.
