With tables full of cookies, candy, coffee and nachos, Bakersfield community groups joined together Monday outside Bakersfield Police Department headquarters to thank officers and staff for their work. The BPD Wellness Committee teamed up with community groups such as Adventist Health and Bakersfield Community Healthcare for an appreciation day.
