Partly sunny conditions and mild temperatures are expected for a significant portion of Thursday in Kern County, with the possibility of some light scattered showers, mainly in the early morning. However, a new storm is approaching this weekend.
Temperatures are expected to range from the 60s to low-70s throughout most of the region from Friday to Saturday.
Weather Wednesday: State snowpack is improving
On Sunday, precipitation is likely to begin, intensifying in the evening and persisting into Monday and Tuesday. Frazier Park and Pine Mountain Club should anticipate approximately 1 to 2 inches of rainfall, while the Tehachapi area may receive up to 3/4 of an inch. The valley floor can expect a lesser amount of precipitation compared to the valleys and foothills.
