SOS Dog Rescue hosts spay and neuter clinics

To clear up any confusion surrounding the process, Robbie Miller, a rescue animal advocate with SOS Rescue and Janet, joined 17 News at Sunrise to explain how you can get your furry friends, both cats and dogs, spayed and neutered.

Some programs offer on the spot appointments, but for SOS Dog Rescue appointments are booked in advance.

The average wait time is about two months, but these appointments are booked out according to breeds.

Because of this, there’s a possibility of that wait time being much less. Vaccinations are typically included with each spay and neuter program in Kern County, but make sure to check with your provider beforehand to make sure.
