2 arrested after guns, drugs allegedly found in residence: Kern County Probation

LAKE ISABELLA, Calif. (KGET) — Two people in Lake Isabella were arrested by probation officers Wednesday after officers say they located firearms and drugs in their residence, according to the Kern County Probation Department.

On Feb. 14, officers assigned to Adult Felony Supervision C unit conducted a home call in the 2000 block of Kem Avenue. During a search, officers say they located a Braztech short barrel shotgun, a Jennings 9mm firearm, 20-gauge shotgun shells, 9 mm rounds and drug paraphernalia.

Woman arrested on suspicion of DUI in Valentine’s Day crash

Officers say Christopher and Amanda Bassham were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm, ammunition, and drug-related charges.

Christopher Bassham, 19, was listed in custody as of Thursday, and is due in court Feb. 16, per the Kern County Sheriff’s Office. Amanda Bassham was not listed in custody.
