A ribbon-cutting held Friday celebrated a new farm labor affordable housing development. The $32 million Brentwood Crossing developed by Danco Group, just off Niles Street and east of Fairfax Road in east Bakersfield, offers 58 single-family homes. The city of Bakersfield provided more than $1.2 million in support through the Permanent Local Housing Allocation, according to a city memo.
