231 pounds of meth seized in Bakersfield traffic stop: KCSO

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Bakersfield traffic stop resulted in authorities seizing a massive haul of methamphetamine — enough that dozens of bags filled with the drug covered a large section of the sheriff’s property room floor.

The total amount taken after a deputy stopped an SUV on 24th Street Wednesday measured a staggering 231 pounds, according to sheriff’s officials.
